Outta Sightsound

Following my soft spot for obscure private pressings here's yet another one. Cogwheel's Sightsound LP from an unknown (to me) year in the seventies?? If you check the details here  you'll find that there is a classical background  to most of the tracks, especially on the first side. Opening with lovely "Krautrock" including reversed drums and epic synths, it flows guitar-gently until the standout track "Latin Glasses" on side B wakes you up and calls for a dance or two (i wouldn't dare to say it'd move masses but a little "free dance" should be possible). This track will definitely appeal to the lovers of library music. Maybe the whole thing will as it's close to the sound of some german libraries of that period (i'm still guessing 1976-1978 until someone with expert knowledge enlightens my dull dungeon). If you're not into classical melodies and obscure stuff save yourself from those damn ads on the download sites and forget about it immediately..... if you are a sucker for old cheese, you might be very happy with it.
Cheers, Basso

This is a really fun song. I can't understand people who hate this song. I admit the lyrics are not very creative and it is a bit repetitive but you can't be unhappy when you listen to it. It's a great song that will be played at parties for years to come.
