I have just received a note about the relaunch of the good old Force Inc. label and it's "first" release being the MARROW - PLUS MINUS NULL lp. I haven't been paying proper attention to minimal for quite some time and now this one made me wake up. Probably because there's some melody and that lovely bit of melancholy in it... After Cracklin' Chimney (thanks a lot, man) posted a Lullatone video over at Dreamchiney's TOTD I ordered the first copy I could get a hold of. This is some damn beautiful music. I'm pretty sure it will make children sleep and dream the sweetest dreams but it also creates a wonderful atmosphere in our adult kitchen everytime I play that CD (and that's almost daily!!!)

I have bought a record lately and I love it. Its a comp and it is called "Future Cosmic Grooves". Library stuff only. Had a few tracks on record already but spend way too much money on those. Now I got a few more (that I couldn't afford as original copies anyway) and I'm damn happy with it. You may get it at your local recordstore or buy it directly from the man who made it here.

Please allow me to do some advertising! I really need to ...... because I was so damn blasted when hearing one the tracks of Tolouse Lowtrax aka Detlef Weinrich (of Kreidler fame) that I had to check out the whole thing on soundcloud. That lead to a whole working day of these tunes on repeat : ) What a sweet day. Lowtrax manages to combine the timeless beauty of minimal synth with afrodisco and some lovely kraut. The outcome is fantastic. And not only from the collector's point of view. (You'd have to buy a whole bunch of diffferent and probably all expensive early 80s LPs to get close to the quality of this release.) This is deep and danceable, pure and not pathetic and (enough of those stupid alliterations) a powerful contender for my album of the year. Go out and buy this as long as there are copies!
