This is by far my favourite Alec R. Costandinos & Don Ray album. It has that perfect seventies blend of spaced out prog/disco/comsic & and alien Otherness. The spoken word narrative on the album is a familiar pop cultural trope of seventies film and televison sci-fi. It weaves around an encounter with a present day earth woman and an extra-terrestrial male visitor, focussing on the strange experience of human emotions..."what is.....love?" Wonderful! This is an often overlooked album and I cannot rate it highly enough...another gem from the growing bin...I am going to need about another 500 gigs of storage for the releases on this blog alone...
Enjoy the music! We strongly encourage you to go out and dig the stuff out at your local recordshop, fleamarket, ebay, discogs or simply at GROWING BIN RECORDS.
The sound of a mp3 is NOTHING compared to a vinyl record in VG+ condition or a nice reissue on whatever medium.
All the here featured LPs are out of print. Let us know if they're not or if the owner of the rights doesn't like them being promoted. We will remove the "material" instantly!
We're always happy about your feedback / recommendation / links to nice places as well as contributions to the blog .
