37:37 is Young Filly from The Midweek Blues album by David Earle Johnson with Jan Hammer and John Abercrombie. And the other one is the last track on Secret Oyster's Astarte called Outro
Thanks for the heads up on this and Basso's mix, they are two of the most incredible strange, beautiful and tripped out musical journeys imaginable....the right side of my brain is just content to bath in the deep oceanic sonic bliss while my left side screams 'tracklists'!!!
PS> Thank you also for alerting me to the fact that Lovefingers is still posting mixes! I hope everyone is digging his new ESP label, I am still listening to his Sombrero Galaxy release months after it came out and to be honest I am astonished it did not get more recognition, its a modern cosmic classic. Just looking at the upcoming releases, cannot wait to hear the Stallions remixes of tracks from Charanjit Singh's 1982 album '10 Ragas To A Disco Beat'....everytime I listen to that album I still have to remind myself it came out in 1982 and not yesterday!
Enjoy the music! We strongly encourage you to go out and dig the stuff out at your local recordshop, fleamarket, ebay, discogs or simply at GROWING BIN RECORDS.
The sound of a mp3 is NOTHING compared to a vinyl record in VG+ condition or a nice reissue on whatever medium.
All the here featured LPs are out of print. Let us know if they're not or if the owner of the rights doesn't like them being promoted. We will remove the "material" instantly!
We're always happy about your feedback / recommendation / links to nice places as well as contributions to the blog .
