The real Mucke Fuck

Before you download this I'd like to speak out a warning.
This self titled Mucke Fuck LP from 1973 on the tiny and possibly private Knöterich label is funny (silly, etc) and entertaining and the sound is quite "recorded at home in dad's beercellar" (it probably was...)  - horrible that is.
There's bits of music - folkrock with dissonant singing and grunting, lots of spoken word (german and sometimes even some english) and laughter....... After hearing the whole thing you might end up sitting down in the cellar with these young guys taking two and passing. "Would you mind to give me another one of those lovely sugarcubes? Here's another beer!"
God bless the dilettantes!!!

PS. Mucke Fuck is the german slang word for ersatz coffee, probably originated from the french "mocca faux"

Here's more Cogwheel, even if it's spelled wrong. This 7" used to be a commercial gift for customers (or future customers) of famous Rollei Cameras and it even sounds like them....

More Allegro Jazz

Thank to Michael we are able to post more of the amazing Allegro Jazz Ensemble. This LP called "The Golden Mean" was recorded in 1984 and released in 1985 on the Melodia label. Once again very long and epic tracks: Fantasy in G Minor (10:23) and Composition on a theme of Cole Porter (10:34) on side A and Concert Suite in Three Movements (20:52) on side B. Enjoy!!

Outta Sightsound

Following my soft spot for obscure private pressings here's yet another one. Cogwheel's Sightsound LP from an unknown (to me) year in the seventies?? If you check the details here  you'll find that there is a classical background  to most of the tracks, especially on the first side. Opening with lovely "Krautrock" including reversed drums and epic synths, it flows guitar-gently until the standout track "Latin Glasses" on side B wakes you up and calls for a dance or two (i wouldn't dare to say it'd move masses but a little "free dance" should be possible). This track will definitely appeal to the lovers of library music. Maybe the whole thing will as it's close to the sound of some german libraries of that period (i'm still guessing 1976-1978 until someone with expert knowledge enlightens my dull dungeon). If you're not into classical melodies and obscure stuff save yourself from those damn ads on the download sites and forget about it immediately..... if you are a sucker for old cheese, you might be very happy with it.
Cheers, Basso

Thanks, Michael !

BIG THANKS!!!!! to Michael who was so kind to record this excellent russian Jazz LP. It's the Allegro Jazz Ensemble's first LP from 1980. Both sides seem to be suites again (just like on their "In This World" LP). Long and beautiful tracks...... Enjoy!

out of this world: In This World

Now here you have some Russian Jazz. I'm far from being an expert in Jazz from Russia but I guess there must be tons out there. Only have some Allegro, Arsenal, Bumerang and Kutsenko, ... and here is my fave among them: The Allegro Jazz Ensemble's "In This World" from 1981. Powerful sound with partly funky rhythms and some solid synths.... and then there's that bass in the last tune......... Both sides are suites, but I dared to divide them into parts.
Cheers!
