Oh No! Not Another Decerf ‽ ‽ ‽



Sorry but I just had to share this. J.P. and Marc Saclays cooked up these 11 platters full of well baked synth noodles on a bed of crispy drums with slinky guitar garnish. What? You're not hungry? Ok, we'll save it for later; midnight snack, maybe?

    Delos Chimney posted a youtube video of Caramelo De Limon last Summer. Two female vocalists with great voices but the band wasn't present. I remember doing a search and finding a pricey reissue and nada for the original lp. Ponytone is a nice visit. You have a lot of obscurities posted there. Thanks for this track.

    My fave Decerf was done for the CAM label about 1978 - "Black Safari."

    The more Dercerf I hear the more he shuffles onto the wonky shrine I have erected to the French gods of bizarre and demented prog-discoid-electro-kosmische; now he sits proudly next to JP Massiera, Bernard Fevre, Richard Pinhas, Marc Chantereau, Pierre-Alain Dahan & Slim Pezin in eternity....why he is not better known is beyond me...if records of this quality keep turning up no doubt we should expect a Finders Keepers or Mucho Gusto compilation
    in the next year or two ;)

    This is exactly why I keep returning to the Growing Bin and a sprinkling of other music blogs; it keeps my faith in sonic possibilities alive.
